There is something rather special about hearing poetry read aloud in Dylan Thomas's childhood home.

For this intimate evening in the parlour, poet and Seventh Quarry Press editor Peter Thabit Jones will be joined by Christopher Norris and Mark Lewis to celebrate the launch of three new collections of poetry.

Peter's The Boy Who Drew John Lennon travels from memories of his childhood in Swansea's Eastside to his time as writer in residence at Big Sur, California.

In Porlock Revisited and Other Poems on Literary Themes, Christopher Norris turns his attention to the poets and writers who have shaped our literary imagination, while Mark Lewis's Anchor and Wing: Poems from the Periphery celebrates the joy of living in its many forms.

Three poets, three new collections, and an evening of words and conversation in the room where a young Dylan Thomas grew up surrounded by language and stories.

All three books are published by Seventh Quarry Press.

Come inside the Dylan Thomas Birthplace and experience the evening in person. The parlour holds only a small audience, which is part of what makes these evenings so intimate. You'll be close to the poets, the conversation and the words, in the childhood home where Dylan's own relationship with language began.
