A three day relaxed Summer School where we start with local plants and finish with sheets of paper that we have dried and used for an art project.
Starting on Monday afternoon, we will collect and cook some plant material. On Tuesday we will pulp and pull sheets of paper to dry overnight. We will experiment with different pulps, mixing pulps, making laminates, using inclusions and decorating with pressed flowers and leaves. On Thursday we will have a free session for your own artwork or join in a printing workshop with John Banham, a local printmaker.
Based at our outdoor workshop in a flower farm, we will connect with nature and produce memorable paper and artwork.
