In this workshop, participants will explore styrofoam printing as a simple and expressive way to reflect on the Fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22–23). Through the imagery of fruit, we will consider which qualities we feel drawn to, which we notice growing in our lives, and which we may wish to nurture more deeply.
Using Styrofoam sheets, participants will draw fruit shapes and patterns, carving gently into the surface to create a printing plate. These plates will then be inked and printed repeatedly to form colourful fruit patterns. The repeated printing process encourages experimentation, play, and reflection, allowing each design to develop naturally over time.
Printmaking supports wellbeing by offering a grounding, hands‑on process that rewards patience and curiosity. The rhythmic actions of inking, pressing, and lifting prints help calm the mind, build focus, and provide a satisfying sense of achievement. This workshop creates space to slow down, reflect, and enjoy the process of creating while exploring spiritual growth in a gentle and accessible way.
