The Wonder of Wellbeing Gower's May Wild Church.

23rd May 2026 at 10:00am.

Join us at Bishops Wood in Caswell for a prayerful walk where we link in with Thy Kingdom Come's Prayer Week.

We will focus on walking slow, taking in our surroundings and praying for five people God places on our hearts.

Overview of the Walk
• Distance: Approx. 1.5 miles mostly gentle with some steps
• Time: Around 60 - 120 minutes
• Route: Following the path from Caswell Car Park through Bishops Wood and then returning to Caswell Bay.
• Structure: We will aim to have 5 reflection stops using sitting spots to pray for someone on our hearts
• Prayer rhythm: Pray for one person per stop
• We will walk slowly

The path is a dirt track and so may not be suitable for all.

Please be mindful of the weather, and use sunscreen/cream and if you wish, use an insect repellent spray.

Parking:
Caswell Bay has a public car park which is pay and display.

Although this is large it can fill up quickly.

Parking charges at this time are:

Up to one hour - £2.50 (£2.00 residential fee)

Up to two hours - £4.50 (£4.00 residential fee)

Up to three hours £5.50 (£5.00 residential fee)

Dog Walking:

Dogs are most welcome, however some of our time will be spent on Caswell Bay.

There is a ban on dogs being allowed on Caswell Bay, and so we recommend considering this before bringing your dog.

Guide dogs are exempt from this restriction.

Accessibility:

Due to the paths, and accessing the beach there are restrictions for some, however Caswell Bay does have access to two free floating beach wheelchairs available for hire, essential to book in advance.

Please contact Peter.Beynon@swansea.gov.uk or call 01792 635718.

We look forward to seeing you.
